Digital Labin: Latest and best in building cutting-edge user experiences

Culture remains a well of inspiration for people building beautiful digital products; it takes effort to keep your creative work fresh, and caution when choosing your approach to design. Trends are ok, but they can steer you away from truly innovative thinking, said Arthur Gall and Eric Sangarné of Immersive Garden at the Digital Labin conference this weekend. Did you know that every time we get interrupted at work, it takes us roughly 23 minutes to get back on track? If the average human life lasts about 28,000 days, and most of that is working and sleeping, we need to pay more attention to how we spend and save our time.

Digital Labin, the international conference for developers, digital designers and project managers, once again turned the small town of Labin into Croatia’s tech hotspot. As per tradition, the Infosit team participated to get fresh perspective and insight into the latest tech trends and know-how.

Speakers day on Saturday featured three tracks: Hangar Arena (Design & UX), Mine Hall (Dev & Data), and Business Garage (PM & BizDev). Industry experts from companies like Booking.com, Infinum, Stripe, Devōt, Adoratorio Studio and others took the stage and shared inspiring talks and fresh insights from the tech world. Making digital products intuitive and easy to use, while ensuring they fulfil their purpose remains the core mission of pretty much everyone in the digital industry.

Friday's masterclass were about creating engaging web interfaces, running effective meetings, building an AI personal trainer, designing 3D experiences with WebGL, and learning best practices for usability testing.

Organized by Lloyds Digital for the fifth year, the conference saw over 700 attendees and more than 30 speakers. Individuals from the US, Sweden, Italy, France, Serbia and other countries attended. Last year, the conference won the Eventex Awards 2023 in the Tech Event category.
