UX Designer

We are looking for a generalist who covers a little bit of everything in the entire design process. You need to understand your users’ needs, generate ideas to solve their problems, prototype designs, and finally test them with users. In other words, UX designers participate in all five phases of the design thinking process.

Our expectations

We expect you to have the following experience and competencies:

• Experience in creating frontends for web solutions. It would be great if you have experience in creating frontends for mobile apps, too.
• Excellent communication skills, with emphasis on facilitating and managing the design thinking process
• Personal and team organization skills
• Analytical thinking aimed at choosing the optimal solution based on crucial criteria
• The ability for an excellent and deep understanding of user needs to create ideas that solve client problems
• Teamwork skills, team motivation skills to fulfil the needs and goals of the client
• Facilitate communication with clients and internal teams (like meetings and workshops) to boost the ideation process and gather necessary information
• The ability to create upgrades of existing solutions, bearing in mind the actual and desired future state
• Give demos of deliverables that resulted from the process of design thinking to the client. You have to lead the client to the best option and close the discussion to continue through the design thinking process.
• Clear information transfer and explanation of details regarding wishes or client demands to team members or other teams.

About the job 

You will own the ideation and design of projects, conduct all kinds of UX activities to perform the job. As a UX designer, you will:

• Conduct user research through interviews, observations, and other research methods
• Analyze and identify pain points from the users’ perspective, based on your user research
• Generate ideas through ideation techniques such as brainstorming and worst possible idea to solve the users’ needs in a way that provides value to the company
• Select the most promising idea(s) based on their feasibility, desirability, and viability, among other criteria
• Prototype designs, which can range from simple paper sketches to high-fidelity and interactive digital mock-ups
• Provide and solicit critique on your designs as well as the designs of your team-mates
